RESOLUTION NO. 2026-2
A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE MEETING DATE OF THE
FEBRUARY 10, 2026 LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON FOR THE
HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMNIISSIONERS
THAT WHEREAS, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners adopted on September 19, 1994 certain
Rules of Procedure by which the Board would conduct its meetings; and
WHEREAS, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners adopted the 2026 Schedule of Meetings on
November 17, 2025 establishing a Legislative Luncheon on February 10, 2026 at 11:45 am to be held in Training
Room 103A at the Harnett County Resource Center and Library, 455 McKinney Parkway; Lillington, NC; and
WHEREAS, Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure concerning "Regular and Special Meetings" states that the
Board may change the place or time of a particular meeting by resolution: that the Board has determined that it
would like to change the Legislative Luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11:45 am to Monday,
February 2, 2026 at 11:45 am to be held in Training Room 103B at the Harnett County Resource Center and
Library, 455 McKinney Parkway, Lillington, NC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County that the
Tuesday, February 10, 2026 Legislative Luncheon at 11:45 am be changed to Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11:45
am to be held in Training Room 103B, Harnett County Resource Center and Library, 455 McKinney Parkway,
Lillington, NC. This Resolution shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board, posted at the regular meeting place and
forwarded to all parties on the County's Sunshine List.
Adopted by the Harnett County Board of Commissioners in regular session, this 13t` day of January,
2026.
