I would like to confirm that a special use permit application is the correct process based on your zoning. If I confirm that a special use permit is necessary, I have preemptively attached the residential special use permit required to place a singlewide manufactured home in the RA-30 zoning district. If deemed necessary based on your zoning, you will need to physically submit the attached application fully completed, with a site plan, and all applicable signatures. The next available meeting is on November 10, 2025. We take applications first come, first serve, and cap each month at 5 cases. If a month reaches 5 cases before you submit, you will be pushed to the following month. We conduct an application review meeting to set the agenda for each month. Staff will notify you once the agenda has been set to confirm your hearing date. The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board that must make certain findings of fact to approve, approve with conditions, or deny the special use request. There are associated fees due at the time of submission for this application (typically a $175 fee). You will need to receive approval from the Board of Adjustment in order to be able to apply for any additional permits to place the home on the property. It is my understanding that we need to fill out an application for zoning, and appear before the panning board for approval. Can you point me in the right direction for the application? It is my understanding that the zoning board meets on the first Monday of every month at 6pm, is this correct? Is there anything else that I'm missing in this process to get to yes on the install?
