HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-28 FLEET MAINTENANCE FACILITY IMPROVEMENT CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCEFLEET MAINTENANCE FACILITY IMPROVEMENT CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County, North Carolina, sitting as the governing board for Harnett County. Section 1. This project consists of the design and construction of a 40'X80' metal building addition to the county Fleet Maintenance facility, located at 1100 E McNeill Street, Lillington, to provide adequate space for the maintenance of the county's expanding fleet. The new addition will improve the vehicle service turnaround times and also ensure the safety of the Fleet Maintenance staff. Section 2. The following expenditures are hereby appropriated for this project: Original Ordinance Construction $ 575,000 Professional Services - Captal Outlay- Equipment 125,000 Contingency 75,000 Total $ 775,000 Section 3. The following revenues are hereby appropriated for this project: Interfund Transfer - General Fund Total Original Ordinance $ 775,000 $ 775,000 Section 4. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to the Clerk to the Board, the Budget Officer and the Finance Officer for direction in carrying out this project.
