REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 1, 2025
5:00 P.M.
Present: Board Chairwoman Allison Fenderson, Members: Betsy McCormick, Bill McNutt,
Lewis Bell and Director Claire Jones and Assistant Director Shannon Cole
Also present: See sign in sheet
Ms. Fenderson called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm with a moment of silence and Pledge of
Allegiance.
Public Comment:

Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from March 04,2025 and March 18, 2025. Mr. McNutt moved
to approve the minutes. Mr. Bell seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones provided an update to the Board regarding the progress of the precinct splits, the
surveying of the new precincts, and the completion date of the office move.
Town Manager Snow Bowden from the Town of Erwin requested that the Board consider
moving both Early Voting and Election Day voting from the Erwin Park and Rec building to the
Erwin Community building. The reason for this request was to minimize disruptions to activities
at the park. The Board decided to take the request under advisement and conduct further research
on the matter.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Bell moved to adjourn. Mr. McNutt seconded.
Approved without dissent. The meeting adjourned at 5:29 pm.
The next meeting of the Board will be a regular meeting on May 6, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
