Present were; Board Chairwoman Allison Fenderson, Secretary Jim Currin, Members: Betsy McCormick, Bill McNutt, and Director Claire Jones Also present: See sign in sheet Ms. Fenderson called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm with a moment of silence and Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes: The Board reviewed the minutes from November 7, 2023. Mr. Currin moved to approve the minutes. Mrs. McCormick seconded. Approved without dissent. Business: The Board reviewed the absentee list. Mr. McNutt moved to approve the list. Mr. Currin seconded. Approved without dissent. Mrs. Jones stated that since there was only a few ballots to be approved, they would be merged with any approved Provisionals and reported with the provisional numbers in order to preserve the voter's secrecy. The Board reviewed the Provisional list. Sixteen Provisional ballots were returned. After extensive research nine were recommended to not be approved and seven to be approved. After some discussion, Mr. Currin moved to approve the provisional list. Mrs. McCormick seconded. Approved without dissent. The Board opened the seven approved provisional ballots and duplicated three ballots, which were incorrect precinct voters and voted the wrong ballot style. The Board opened the DS200, verified the zero tapes and the Ms. Fenderson inserted the approved ballots. The Board verified 15 ballots were inserted and the DS200 tapes were printed. With no further business to discuss, Mr. Currin moved to adjourn. Mrs. McCormick seconded. The meeting adjourned at 5:27 pm. The next meeting of the Board will be the Canvass meeting on November 17, 2023 at 11:00 am.
