HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-01089 plan approval January 18, 2022 Harnett Regional Water Attention: Steve Ward, Director PO Box 1119 Lillington, North Carolina 27546 Re: Engineering Plans Approval Distribution Extension All Home Renovations Harnett Regional Water Water System No.: NC0343045, Harnett County Serial No.: 21-01089 Dear Applicant: Enclosed please find one copy of the "Application for Approval..." together with one copy of the referenced engineering plans bearing the Division of Water Resources stamp of approval for the referenced project. These engineering plans are approved under Division of Water Resources Serial Number 21-01089, dated January 18, 2022. Engineering plans prepared by Peter E. Norfleet Temple, P.E., call for the installation of approximately 510 feet of 6-inch water main, 410 feet of 2-inch water main, a fire hydrant, valves and associated appurtenances along Rawls Club Road (SR 1447) and an unnamed road to serve 6 single family residential lots along a proposed 50-foot public right of way – All Home Renovations, LLC located along SR 1447 approximately 450 feet east of its intersection with Alban Row. The proposed 6-inch water main will connect to an existing 6-inch water main along Alban Row at the intersection with Rawls Club Road and to an existing 4-inch water main along Rawls Club Road at a location approximately 450 feet east of the intersection with Alban Row. Existing 4-inch water main along Rawls Club Road will be abandoned in place. Construction of this project must be in accordance with Harnett Regional Water’s standard specifications. Please note that in accordance with 15A NCAC 18C .0309(a), no construction, alteration, or expansion of a water system shall be placed into service or made available for human consumption until the Public Water Supply Section has issued Final Approval. Final Approval will be issued and mailed to the applicant upon receipt of both an Engineer’s Certification and an Applicant’s Certification submitted in accordance with 15A NCAC 18C .0303 (a) and (c). These plans in the foregoing application are approved insofar as the protection of public health is concerned as provided in the rules, standards and criteria adopted under the authority of Chapter 130A-317 of the Harnett Regional Water Attention: Steve Ward, Director Page 2 of 2 January 18, 2022 General Statutes. This approval does not constitute a warranty of the design, construction or future operation of the water system. One copy of the "Application for Approval..." and a copy of the plans with a seal of approval from the department are enclosed. One copy of the approved documents in a digital format (CD) is being forwarded to our Fayetteville Regional Office. The second copy of the CD is being retained in our office.
