Thank you for sending along the staff report. Attached for your review and the staff planner assigned to this case are the plan sheets for the intersection realignment at NC Hwy 27
and Fairground Rd/Baileys X-Rd Roads. Please make this part of Tuesday’s HC Planning Board Meeting record.
In addition, yesterday I contacted NCDOT District 2 Engineer Cumberland-Harnett Counties Richie Hines regarding this rezoning request. He and his assistant district engineer were unaware
of this rezoning request which has material traffic flow design issues associated with it.
I plan to be at the meeting and would like to be listed as speaking in opposition to approval. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

DOT has revised the plan sheet so that Fairgrounds Road no longer intersects with NC 27 right in front of your house. Bailey’s Crossroads Rd will still cul-de-sac. DOT still needs the
same temporary easement along Bailey’s Crossroads Rd as before. Our value and offer to you for this temporary easement is still $275.00. In order to stay on the same construction schedule,
we’d like to meet with you and have the temporary easement signed by you and your wife within the next couple of weeks. I will give you a call by this Friday to discuss. Thanks.

between the cul-de-sac and NC 27. The yellow is the temporary construction easement.
2. A couple of photos I took of the easement.
3. Plan Sheet 2 is the title page and cross sections
4. An offer form showing an offer of $275 for the easement. The square feet of the easement is 0.027 acre (approximately 1,177 square feet)
