New Business:
Ms. Toler advised that the results of the hand -eye audit were exactly the same as
the machine totals with the exception that one vote originally counted as an undervote
was actually a vote for the candidate due to a faint check mark on the ballot.
Ms. Toler advised the Board regarding provisional ballots. The report is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Mr. Massey moved to approve the
appropriate provisionals. Mr. Titchener seconded. Approved without dissent.
Additionally, the Board hand counted the ballots in which the voter voted outside his/her
party and added the results to the final tape.
The provisional ballots by mail were run through the machine and the tapes
printed and signed by the Board. The official canvass report was prepared and signed by
the Board.
The next meeting of the Board will be its regular monthly meeting on June 3,
2008 at 12:00 noon.
Mr. Massey made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Titchener seconded. The meeting
was adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
