FINDINGS OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Having heard the evidence in the following case at their regular meeting on August 9, 2021 the
Harnett County Board of Adjustment makes the following findings of fact:
Special Use
Permit
BOA2107-0001
Cameron Wingo.
A Singlewide Manufactured Home in an RA-30 Zoning District;
Pin # 0630-05-3463.000; .78 +/- acres; Upper Little River Township;
Off SR # 1291 (Old US Hwy 421 on Nancy Lane).
The requested use
is is not in harmony with the
surrounding area and compatible
with the surrounding neighborhood
for the following reasons:
The proposed use is similar in
character and nature to existing uses
and structures in the surrounding
area.

The requested use
will will not materially
endanger the public health and
safety for the following reasons:
Testimony has verified that the site
contains an older manufactured
home that would be replaced with a
new home for the purpose of
occupancy by the land owner.

will will not substantially
injure the value of adjoining
property, or alternatively, the
requested use is is not or
will will not be a public
necessity for the following reasons:
Testimony has verified that the
current home on the property would
be removed in order to replace it
with a new home. The newer home
would result in an increase in value.

The applicant testified that a
professional company would
remove the older home and properly
set up the new home. The new home
set up will be required to met all
required conditions and regulations.

conformance with the Harnett
County Unified Development
Ordinance (UDO), Land Use Plan,
and other relevant adopted plans for
the following reasons:
The proposed use is an allowed
special use for the district in which it
is located. It will be required to
complete all permitting, reviews and
inspections to verify compliance
with all adopted plans.
