• Site: The site is currently a long-time farm. Some agricultural activities as well as timbering may also occur
on site
• Surrounding Land Uses: Consist primarily of single-family homes and agricultural uses
TRANSPORTATION:
• Site distances are moderate at this location
• Traffic counts for this section of Cokesbury comes in at 1000 AADT.
BACKGROUND:
• If approved, this project will be required go through the commercial site plan review process via the Development
Review Board. The Commercial Site Plan review process includes a thorough review from Planning, Fire Marshal,
Public Utilities, E911/ Addressing, and Environmental Health Departments; as well as NCDOT
8.5.2 Solid Waste Disposal
A. Required buffer shall meet the requirements of this Ordinance; however the buffer shall be
continuous and shall not be permitted to follow the spacing requirements.
B. Any structure shall be located at least 300 feet from any residentially zoned property line or 50
feet from all other property lines.
E. The main travel way and all active travel ways shall be surfaced in asphalt or concrete from, at a
minimum, the right(s)-of-way to all structures located on site. All unpaved areas shall be
maintained in a manner that prevents dust from adversely impacting adjoining properties and
right(s)-of-way.
Land Clearing Waste
Solid waste that is generated solely from land clearing activities such as stumps, trees, limbs, brush, grass, and
other naturally occurring vegetative material.
