Good Afternoon,
I am reaching out in regards to the proposed special use application for Lucky 87 at 975 NC 24, Cameron NC (BOA2002-0001). As a Johnsonville property owner and land owner, I would like
to express concern over this proposed use. As I am sure you are aware, similar businesses exist in both Cumberland and Lee counties. These businesses are not only the subject of controversy
at the state level with regards to whether or not they constitute illegal gambling, but also have been the target of robberies and other nefarious activity. Please see the two news
stories below.

Although I cannot attend tonight's meeting, I am requesting that these concerns be addressed in determining if this type of business development is really in the best interest of Jonsonville
and Harnett County. I understand that economic development is important, but equally important is ensuring that proposed development that is in harmony with the community. This particular
location is in very close proximity to residential homes.
Respectfully,
Justin
