HomeMy WebLinkAbout120304w HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISISONERS Special Meeting (work session) December 3,2004 The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, December 3,2004, in the Human Resources Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina. Members present: Teddy 1. Byrd, Chairman Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman Dan B. Andrews Walt Titchener Tim McNeill Staff: Neil Emory, County Manager Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board Guests: Dan Mace and Nelda Leon, representatives of Moseley Architects Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11 :30 a.m. and called on Mr. Emory, who introduced representatives of Moseley Architects. Dan Mace and Nelda Leon presented the results of the study conducted regarding feasibility of a new law enforcement center and jail. They discussed the process used for the study and noted options of the County regarding building a new facility or renovating the current facility. Mr. Emory noted that the Board would not be asked to consider the matter today. There being no further business, the special meeting, December 3, 2004, adjourned at 12:30 p.m. Teddy 1.
