HomeMy WebLinkAboutBP exempt_Barn Plans For Carolina Wildlife Conservation ParkMr. Holm,
If you have your farm exemption for this property based on the
requirements of the NC General Statutes, we would only require building
permits for the buildings which will be accessible to the public.
Outlying animal confinement barns (not used for public viewing) would
not require a building permit. None of the buildings would be exempt
from trade permits (electrical, plumbing, etc) . There is no exemption
for trade permits.
These exemptions only apply to the North Carolina Building Code. You
will have to contact any other county departments for their
requirements.

Good Morning Mr. Sutton.
Please find attached the plans for our Giraffe barn.
At your earliest convenience please advise us if this will fall under
our certified farm portion of our project or if we will be required to
go through the permitting protocol.
Thank you for your time.
