GENERAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL NOTES1. CONTRACTOR MUST COMPLY WITH THE LATEST VERSIONS OF ALL FEDERAL,STATE, AND LOCAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL LAWS.2. AFTER FINAL SITE STABILIZATION HAS BEEN ACHIEVED, TEMPORARY EROSIONAND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLS MUST BE REMOVED. AREAS DISTURBEDDURING REMOVAL OF THE CONTROLS MUST BE STABILIZED.3. UNTIL THE SITE IS STABILIZED, ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLSMUST BE MAINTAINED PROPERLY. MAINTENANCE MUST INCLUDEINSPECTIONS OF ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLS AFTER EACHSTORM EVENT AND ON A WEEKLY BASIS. ALL PREVENTATIVE AND REMEDIALMAINTENANCE WORK, INCLUDING CLEAN OUT, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT,REGRADING, RESEEDING, REMULCHING, AND RENETTING MUST BEPERFORMED IMMEDIATELY.4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER CONSTRUCTION,STABILIZATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATIONCONTROLS AND RELATED ITEMS INCLUDED WITHIN THE PLAN.5. SHOULD ANY MEASURES CONTAINED WITHIN THE PLAN PROVE INCAPABLE OFADEQUATELY REMOVING SEDIMENT FROM ON-SITE FLOWS PRIOR TODISCHARGE OR OF STABILIZING THE SURFACES INVOLVED, ADDITIONALMEASURES MUST BE IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENTED BY THE CONTRACTOR TOELIMINATE ALL SUCH PROBLEMS.6. IF UNFORESEEN EROSIVE CONDITIONS DEVELOP DURING CONSTRUCTION,THE CONTRACTOR MUST TAKE ACTION TO REMEDY SUCH CONDITIONS AND TOPREVENT DAMAGE TO ADJACENT PROPERTIES AS A RESULT OF INCREASEDRUNOFF AND/OR SEDIMENT DISPLACEMENT.7. SITE STABILIZATION MUST BE APPROVED BY NCDEQ PROJECT EROSIONCONTROL INSPECTOR PRIOR TO REMOVING EROSION CONTROL MEASURES.8.
