HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE_ Permit 41751Good afternoon,
I will respond to each of your questions as provided below.
1. I have attached the original information for the wall sign
permit as was submitted to Harnett County Development Services.
2. The building façade width to sign square footage ratio is 1:1.
For example if the building is 20 feet wide, you are allowed 20 square
feet of wall signage on that façade.
a. The only exception to that is on ‘Multi-Tenant & Shopping
Comlex’ building (which the Dunkin Donuts is housed within) if you
install a side wall sign then the square footage is limited to no larger
than 50% of the maximum sign area. For example, if the side wall façade
is 40 feet wide the maximum signage area would be 20 square feet.
I have also copied Donna on this e-mail and she may be able to speak
more specifically to issue about when she was working with Jenna on this
project. Donna, feel free to add anything to this message that you feel
would be helpful.
Thank you,
David H. McRae

David,
I was trying to reach Donna today, but haven’t heard back from her. Is
there any way you can address my email below?
Thanks!

Subject: Permit 41751
Hi Donna,
We are trying to figure out where we got off track with this building
permit and these signs. I’m pretty sure Jenna sent you the applications,
because when I picked up the ball, it was to pay for the permits in
mid-August.
Would it be possible for you to send me a copy of the permit
application that we sent you?
And can you clarify something for us please? What is the building
façade square footage to sign square footage ratio? Can you give an
example, too, please?
We are working on getting these issues straightened out. Thank you for
your help, Donna.
Best,
Jan
