I am contacting you in regards to the wall signs on the Dunkin
Donuts/Baskin Robbins location at 1490 NC 24-87 (Harnett County PIN
9584-88-3248.000). This project is covered under application
HTE#17-50041751.
Unfortunately this permit (HTE#17-50041751) was issued in error without
all proper reviews and sign-offs from the Planning Division of the
Development Services Department. At this point in time the Zoning
Inspector cannot approve the inspection request for the wall signs. The
installed signage exceeds the maximum size standards for a 'Multi-Tenant
& Shopping Center' wall sign. The original documentation submitted with
the permit application did not contain any dimensional details for the
proposed signage. In order for the zoning inspector to sign off on the
final inspection the signs installed on the building meet the standards
contained within 'Article VII, Section 10.0 Sign Requirements' of the
Harnett County Unified Development Ordinance.
