Yes. All Subdivision Roads, regardless of length, will be eligible for NCDOT maintenance once they have met the requirements within our Subdivision Manual (attached).

Troy,
We have a subdivision in the County which will be going before the Planning Board in order to receive a variance on maximum linear street length. Our ordinance, which
mirrors many of NCDOT’s regulations in regards to street length calls for a maximum of 2,500lft on non-through roads. I am contacting you in regards to street maintenance if/when these
variances are approved. Pending the subdivision meeting all other prescribed requirements of NCDOT, will this subdivision be eligible for dedication of right of way maintenance to NCDOT.
