HomeMy WebLinkAboutEmergency Management Transfer Switch Bid 12-12-2012Request for Bid Harnett County, North Carolina, on behalf of the eleven (11) counties in North Carolina Domestic Preparedness Region 6 (DPR6), seeks bids on thirty (30) manual transfer switches, wiring and connectors meeting the following specifications: Weatherproof 400amp, 600VAC, 3-phase Manual Transfer Switch Weatherproof Quick-disconnect plug (male/female) with 50’ pigtail wire for connection to a rental grade 100KW trailer mounted generator. Bids should be presented for each item and may include a total bid for the specified equipment. The response period will remain open until 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Bids will be opened and recorded at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Harnett County Emergency Services Conference room, 1005 Edwards Brothers Drive Lillington, NC. Prices quoted should be good for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. Once the vendor is selected, the vendor will have a maximum of sixty (60) days to supply all of the requested transfer switches. Harnett County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informality, and select the proposal that is deemed in the best interest of the County.
