Permit Plan Checklist
Applications for shall be accompanied by plans, drawn to scale, showing the following:
Location of Project
Identify the appropriate classification. WS- III -BW, WS- IV -CA, WS -IV -PA
Lot Dimensions
Actual dimensions and acreage of the lot to be built upon and the location of any
right of ways that may affect development on the lot.
Built Upon Area
The accurate location and use of all existing and proposed buildings and other
structures, and for non - residential developments the location and size, in square feet,
of all built -upon areas including parking and loading facilities.
The percent of the project that will be covered with an impervious surface.
The area, in acres, to be left natural.
Dwelling Units
The total number of dwelling units proposed on the lot or tract.
Streams/Rivers
The accurate location of all perennial streams and natural drainage areas on the
property.
Adjacent Property Owners
_ The names of adjoining property owners.
Buffers
The location of all required buffer areas.
Private Water and Sewer Systems
Individual water supply systems and /or ground absorption sewage disposal systems
may be permitted subject, to preliminary approval by the County Health Department
that there is sufficient space on the lot for such systems.
Watershed Protection

* One (1) copy of the site plan, prepared by a registered North Carolina Land Surveyor,
Engineer, or Draftsperson, which shall contain the following:
(A) Location of the Project
Identify the appropriate classification. (WS- III -BW, WS- IV -CA, WS- IV -PA)
(B) Lot Dimensions
Actual dimensions and acreage of the lot to be built upon and the location of any right of ways
that may affect development on the lot.
(C) Built Upon Area
The accurate location and use of all existing and proposed buildings and other structures showing
all setbacks, and for non - residential developments the location and size, in square feet, of all
built -upon areas including parking and loading facilities.
The amount of impervious surface in square feet allowed by the state, the actual amount used per
lot, the amount to be left natural or remainder.
(If applicable) The amount allocated from/to another lot, the lot it was allocated to /from, the
remainder after any allocation.
(D) Dwelling Units
The total number of dwelling units proposed on the lot or tract.
(E) Streams/ Rivers
The accurate location of all perennial streams.
(F) Buffers
The location of all required buffer areas
