Matt –
First: Please accept this email as Durham Tower Development’s request to table our application until the December Board meeting.
Second: I’m not sure the process of submitting the application was fully explained. I reviewed the County’s UDO and thought all paperwork that was required was submitted. As an example:
earlier this week, CityScape requested a signed “Compliance Letter” on my company’s letterhead. While certainly not an issue to provide the letter, I could not find this requirement
in the UDO or via a search on the County’s website.
It was not my intent to submit an incomplete application. Perhaps I missed a section that describes the requirements for submittal? Most of the information regarding towers is found
in UDO Section 2.7 Communications Tower Permit. Is there another area I should have looked?

Matthew,
I have spoken with Rick from Cityscape and as of now the application is incomplete because there is no carrier for the tower. It cannot be approved or heard by the Board on Monday night.
Please send me an email requesting you want to table the application until December so you will not be denied and have to go through the process again. Just write up a simple email request
that you would like for the application request be tabled until December so we can get everything clarified. Have a good weekend.

I have contacted Cityscape about the new cell tower proposal you have submitted. I am not sure of the status of the review but unless I hear anything back today, it probably will not
be ready to go in front of the Board of Adjustment until the December 8 meeting. I asked to be expedited but realistically it is usually a minimum 2 month review process. I didn’t want
you to come to the meeting this Monday for no reason if it’s going to be tabled until December. I will wait until the end of today to hear a response from Cityscape for the status and
notify you before I leave the office.
