I'm writing to voice support for Drake Landing being zoned as an agri-tourism business. Their hearing is Wednesday, August 27 at 6pm, but I can't attend.
Drake Landing is beautiful, and we're looking forward to taking some friends from California there when they visit in the fall. The leaves changing will make for an amazing backdrop
on the sporting clays course, even if you can't see the orange clays as easily!
Furthermore, I never would have been to Harnett County (other than driving though) had it not been for Drake Landing. I've spent my entire life in either Wake or Durham county, so it's
bit of a drive, but it's so worth it. I don't doubt many others have stopped in Harnett County for the same reason, so it'd be a shame to hurt their business by taking away their zoning
exemption.
