A group of friends of mine visit Drakes landing a few times a year during a trip to the Raleigh area. We love the well kept grounds, the professional style course and the cheerful service
provided us at the range. We are Vintage shotgun shooters using vintage Side by Side Shotguns. There is usually ten of us that meet there, partly because the facility can handle a
group of that size. We stay at local hotels and eat at local restaurants and like all tourists we buy gas and snacks at the gas station. I think it would be a great loss to your county
and a substantial loss to the local economy since we are not the only ones who do this.
