HomeMy WebLinkAboutDrakes Landing-AusleyDrake Landing, I have a ton of clients that shoot there. It’s a great place for many to send some lead down range have quality family time. This is a DESTINATION in Harnett County.
Many drive very long distances just to come to Harnett Co and shoot at Drakes.
I for one can tell you I talk to clients on a regular basis that drive hours to visit and shoot at Drake landing. I know they stop here and shop as well (Fuquay Gun). I know they stop
at all the local fruit stands and shop. I know they frequent many of our restaurants and eat. Guess what some even stay at our motels. They get fuel for their cars and much more.
I recently sold a shotgun to a man that was in town to shoot at Drake. This gentleman had made me his second stop, his first was not planned he actually saw a truck he had to have
and stopped and purchased it. So he came to shoot and shooting at Drake wound up being his 4th stop after getting something to eat, buying a truck and buying a shotgun. So I can testify
Drake landing is good for local business.
Drake landing also gives many folks an opportunity to shoot in a safe and controlled environment and learn so much more.
We have very few ranges for us to utilize and even less outdoor ranges and in my opinion it would be a great loss not to have Drake Landing there for us.
If you know me much at all you know I don’t care for politics but it really bothers me that this makes 2 times in 2 weeks that our right to shoot where we want to shoot in a safe manner
has come into question in Harnett County.
