HomeMy WebLinkAboutPU OKJay, We are ok with the site plan. I met onsite with Campbell this morning to discuss the Weight Room Addition. Campbell plans to connecting to their water and sewer system on site that is metered by our master meter. I have requested that the Contractor contact Alan Moss prior to tap installation so that we can inspect the materials and location prior to construction. We will not be overseeing/inspecting the relocation of the underground private utilities past the water meter under the proposed facility. Let me know if you have any questions. I used the overall site plan so you could see where the new building would be located in comparison to the others and see the existing utilities. The existing field house has a sewer connection on this side of Wade Stewart Circle. Couldn't we tie on there?? Acme Plumbing will be doing the water and sewer connections as long as we can tie on without having to cross the road.(They did the Field House). I included there information on the revised plan. If not, we will have to hire a private utility contractor to come across the road. Let me know your thoughts. There appears to be a large area of this map irrelevant to the actual weight room area. The existing private utilities under the proposed building are outside of our Department. The proposed county water utilities are show connecting to what appears to be a fence line, not a water main. The sewer is on the opposite side of Wade Stewart Circle and the proposed sewer cleanout is shown without a connection point to the existing system. Who is proposed to install the proposed water and sewer services? HCDPU cannot install the services across Wade Stewart Circle at the base sewer tap rate. Additional details and notes will have to be included in the site plans if a private contractor is to install the utilities as noted on the decision packet(attached). The only lines that may be in the way are the Universities. Based on the depth of these lines, they may be okay to cross over. The University understands that they will have to be moved outside of the building pad if they are not deep enough. Let me know if this doesn't answer the question, and I will get right on it. -----Original Message----- From: Brett Strickland Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2014 8:44 AM To: Jerry Milton Subject: FW: CU Weight Room See notes below.
