HomeMy WebLinkAbout07261954JULY 26th. 1954. The Board of County Commissioners met in a call session on Monday, July 26th. with L. A. Tart, Chairman, Worth Lee Byrd and Glenn Johnson present. B. P. Ingram and D. E. Lassater being absent. Also present were the Clerk to Board, the County Auditor and the County Atborney, Worth Lee Byrd moved, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to adopt the budget for the year 1954 -55 as follows: R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County that there shall be and there is hereby levied and assessed against all taxable property within the County of Harnett, taxes at the respective rates as set forth below for the use of the County, per $100 valuation of said property, for the fiscal year 1954 -55: General County Fund .20 Poor Fund .10 Health Fund .07 - County Accountant • .01 County Agent .03 Veterans Service Officer .01 Old Age. Assistance Fund .05 Aid to Dependent Children Fund .03 SCHOOLS: Current Expense Capital Outlay Debt Service Total SPECIAL DISTRICT NO. 11 Averasboro TOWNSHIP ROAD REFUNDING BOND TAX RATES AS FOLLOWS: .32 .3o .13 .15 Anderson Creek .01 Black River .02 Grove .10 Johnsonville .23 Lillington .05 Neill's Creek AT..
