The Board of County mmissioners met in re ular session on Mon day,
1954 at 10:00 A.M. with all members present.`AlsoL present were the Clerk to the
Board and County Attorney,
The report of Robert B. Morgan, Clerk of Superior Court, was approved and
ordered filed.
The report of D. P. Ray, Tax Collector, was approved and ordered filed.
The report of Inez Harrington, Register of Deeds, was approved and ordered
filed,
lhe' report of L. B. McLean, Veteran Service Officer, was approved and ordered
filed,,
The reports of B. H. Sellars and Roy Godwin Electrical Inspectors
approved and ordered filed.
Commissioner Worth Lee Byrd moved, seconded by Commissioner Lasiter, that
the contract for the Auditing of the Harnett `.County Offices be given to Thurman
C. Ennis, Dunn, N. C. Motion Carried.

WHEREAS' there is a need for additional funds to be expended for general relief
purposes, and it appears that at least 63500.00 of the amount appropriated for
County aid will not be needed during the current fiscal year; And,
WHEREAS, it is desirable that 43500 be transferred from the County aid appro-
priation to the general relief fund appropriation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County
that the sum of 43500 be transferred from the County aid appropriation to the General
relief fund appropriation and that said sum of 43500 be used and expended for General
relief purposes, and the Auditor of Harnett County is hereby authorized and directed

to transfer such funds in accordance with tne terms of this Resolution.
