The Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, February 6th.
1956, at 10;00 A.M., with four members present. Also present Imre the Luditor,
the County ettorney _:.ndthe Clerk to Board.
I'he report of Elizabeth F. Matthews, Clerk Superior Court, was approved and
ordered filed.
The report of D. P. Ray, Jr., Tax Collector, was approved and ordered filed.
The report of Inez Harrington, aegister of Deeds, was approved and ordered
filed.
The report of Kyle Harrington, Clerk Recorder's Court, was approved and ordered
filed.
The report of L. B. McLean, Veteran Service Officer, was approved and ordered
filed.
The report of Earl H. Wells, Dog Warden, was approved and ordered filed.
the report of B. H. Sellars, County Electrical Inspector, was approved and
ordered filed.
Commissioner 'Womble .roved, seconded by Commissioner B. P. Ingram, that a
phone be installed in Soil Conservation Service Office (no long distance call)
Motion carried.
Commissioner J. E. 'Womble moved, seconded by Glenn Johnson, that a telephone
be installed in the court room.
Motion carried.
Commissioner Ingram moved, seconded by Commissioner Womble, to buy a camera
for the Sheriff's Department at a cost .ef approximately x'225.00. Motion carried.
Bond renewal Certificate of 3O9 with Joseph D. Hubbard, Deputy Sheriff, was
approved and filed with Clerk Superior Court.
