Board County Commissioners met ,present,
Geo.E.Prince,T.A.Harrington and J.E.Elliott..
Ordered that eertifioate,of S.A.Salmon Sheriff,dated the 6th,day of June 1905, reciting sale
of the lands of the Hiram Johnson Estate,taxes due for the year 1904,and purchase d by and for
the County of Harnett ,be and the same is hereby assigned to D.H.Trulove in consideration of
his payment of the taxes due as in said oertifioate recited and the Chairman of this Board
is hereby authorized to transfer said oertifioate by proper endorsement thereon.
Ordered that John L.Ennis be released of poll tax for the year 1906.
J.H.Williams Treas. presented his monthly report,same was ordered filed.
J.H.Wither s C.S.C. presented his monthly report same was ordered filed.
Petition signed by W.H:Stephenson,Jos.Adams and others, asking for the establishment Of
a public road from a point in the old road near Dan Adams, via. Andrew Parrish's ,H.A.Williams
and others,to a point at Angier near the School building, same was waseived and ordered
advertised according to law.
It appearing to the Board that a special tax for Schools,had been voted in Distrot #1 ,white
in Lillington Townshi ;it is therefore ordered that a tax of ninety cents on eaoh poll and
thirty oents on each 0100. worth of property,be levid in said Diet.
