Board of County Commissioners met,Present
G.R.Grantham,J.A. Smith ,T.A.Harrington,D.P.Mononald and W.H.Turlington,
Dr.J.W.Halford Supt.of Health presented his monthly report,same was ordered filed.
J.Ii.Williams Treasurer/presented his monthly report,same was ordered filed.
Ordered that on January lst.1909,when the nest installment of interest on the Court House
& funding debt bonds shall become due the Treasurer is authorized to pay the principal and
interest at one and the same time,and that no ooupon be paid on any bond until the bond
shall have been presented for cancellation/the further order of the Board is that the Treas-
urer notify all Banks through which coupons has been paid,infroaing them of the action of
this Board.
Ordered by the Board of Commissioners that B.F.Dupree,S.S.Bradley and H.A.Matthews be and
are hereby appointed Commissioners for the erection of Stock Law fence in territory comprised
of Buckhorn,Hectors Creek and portions of Black River and Neills Creek Townships/with full
power and authority to oontraot for the necessary materials and labor for the erection of
the necessary feats to inclose said territory to be paid for out of the funds now in hand
or to creme tate hand from the levy of taxes when the said Stock Law territory and out of no
other funds of the County.
Dr.J.H.Withers having previously been arpointed.standard keeper for the County tendered his
official Bond in the sem of Two Hundred Dollars with M.B.O'Quinn assurity those rotinecas
Grantham,Smith, Harrington/McDonald and Turlington,those voting no nonetl
Alex McLean having been appointed to keep Lillington Ferry at salary of $26.per month tendered
his bond in the sum of $500.with J.A.Green and G.H.Long as surities,said Bonds were unanimou-
sly accepted and ordered recorded.
Ordered that - purchasing Agent purchase outfit for Standard keeper.
Ordered that D.P.McDonald be authorized to collect house rent from J.B.Ligon and report
same to Board First Monday in December.

ther appearing to this Board that said Deed made by E.F.Young Chm.wa.s not a deed in fee -sim-
ple,It is therefore ordered that G.K.Grantham Chm.& H.C.Stewart Clerk of this Board grant to
