boundaries to -wit: - -
Beginning.at Eanda,Morrisons mill direct to Clarke mill,.thence up U. P. L. to the -mouth of
Reedy Branch, thence direct to the Wilson.old field on the Jonesboro & Lillington road, down
said read to the head of Walkers creek, thence with said creek to the beginning. For whites
in U. L. R. Township, It is ordered that an election be held in said Territory on the 16th
day of May 1908; under the laws regulating general election in the State at which shall be
submitted the question of "for special tax" or "against special tax ". It is further ordered
that W. G. McLeod be and he is hereby appointed registrar for said election, and he is
directed to make a new registration of the qualified voters residing within the boundaries
of said territort. And that Rohr. A. McLean and John turreaa be and they are hereby appointed
poll holders for said election. Notice of said election shall•be posted at-the Court House
doer and three public places in said territory. The Clerk of this is directed to furnish
the registrar and judges of election with a copy of this order.
Upon the hearing of petitioners of a district comprised of the townehips.of Euckhorn,
Hectors Creek and portions of Neill's Creek and Black River townships asking for an election
upon the question of "Stock Law" or" no stock law in said territory, it is hereby ordered by
the Board that said election be granted to be held on the 26th day of May 1908 within the
territory embraced within the following boundaries, to -wit: -
Beginning at the Wake County line near the residence of J. H. Stewart and runs with line
of present district fenoe to the Raleigh & McAlister public road just North of Kennies
Creek bridge on said road, running thence about with the East line of said roadway by way of
Jno. Campbell homestead to the fork of the Raleigh & McAlister and Lillington public roads,
then e along the line of said Raleigh & Lillington road by way of Stokes place, J. A. Morgans
andoekniel MoLeoda, thence from mouth of Daniel MoLeode lane direct to residence of J. P.
Upchurch, thence with Upchurche's back line and Cornelia Johnson's back line to Jas. Johnson's
Mrs. Browny and J. L. Wilders line to Chas. Matthews line, thence direct. to the river about
two miles below the Lillington bridge. It is further ordered that the regular polling place
of Buckhorn township be and ie hereby constituted the polling place for that portion of said
stock law district embraced within the boundaries of Buckhorn township and that J. D. Champion
be appointed registrar and T..B. Lanier and Chas. McLean pill holders for said portions of
said district.

constituted the polling place for said - portion -of -said district and that J. C. Senter, be
appointed registrar and R. E. Smith- and•L..D. Matthews poll holders of said district. That
an entirely new registration of•all voters resident in said district be ordered.
Ordered that D.P.YcDonald and H.C.Stewart be appointed a.committee to purchase cross index.
Ordered that Mrs.Elizabeth Matthews be released of 4.09 taxes on ' `530.property in S.R.Ts.
