It is further ordered that the proposition of the Carolina 'Enginoorin: Conpahy to allow its Ingineer mr hanks to do the engineering work on the approaches to said bridge gratis in consideration of the pay- ment of the one thousand dollars when said pier is completed be and the sane is hereby accepted.
