On notion of "r J.A. Smith, and seconded by Mr Harrington and carried that special school tax in Stewarts
creek Township for School districts No 1 and 2 of .30cts on the $100 and 90 cts on the Poll be leaved for 1909
Motion made by Mr Harrington and seconded by Mr McDonald to reconsider the motion for levy of tax for school
districts No land 2 in Stewarts creek Township Motion continued untill next regular meeting of the Board.
Ordered that Susap Moore be placed onthe pauper list and be allowed 44.50 per quarter and be allowed
43, for this quarts.
On motion Dr J.H. Withers be allowed 43. order for Sabra McIver and also

Board of county corissioners met for the purpose of settling with the Sheriff present R.G. Taylor Ctm
T.A. Harrington, J.A. Smith, V.H. Turlington, D.P. McDonald, being a full board present,
And a settlement with the Sheriff was made and recorded and the board adjourned till the next
regular meeting.

of the treacurer,the Conis ionero went through their routino of Business.
The report of J.H. Williams wee read and approvod and ordered filed and recorded.
The bond of N.C. IScNeill cotton weigher for the town of Dunn was receiver _and a copted and ordered
filed and recorded.
A petition for a public road from the town of Coats INC. to the Raleigh. and Averasboro road was
received and ordereed advertised according to law.
Ordered that J.W. Flowero be and is Hereby appointed constable of Black river Township to 1il! out
the unexpired term of Chas Partin resigned.
P. E. Trulovo of Buckhorn 'Township was exempted from Poll tax and Dowd duty }permanently for disability.
J.A. Norris of Averasboro Township was exempted from Poll tax and. i, d duty permently for disability.
B.C. ',Withers of U.L. River Township was permently exempted from poll texand rweid duty for disability.
Ordered that the treasurer he and he is hereby directed to transfer Three Thousand dollars fromthe
special bridge funds Bond issue to the general county funds reimbursing in part the county funds for
cost of Buildin,rand repairing various smaller bridges destroyed or injured by floods of 1909.
