Chas R. Partin having tendered his resignation as constable of Black River Township the same
ads accepted and his bondsman released. •
The Comissioners met with the tax listers for equalization of and receiving the tax lists
The tax listers subscribed_ to the following oath I List taker of &&

has been made to me by the persons required by law to list the same, is truly returned as set forth in that
statement; that in every case where by law I have been required. to ascertain the items and value of real
and personal proneusy,rnoneies,oroditd, investments in bonds, stocks, joint- stocks,companies,are other wise,
of any personloma Aay or oorporation,I have diligently and by the best meansin my power indeavorod to
ascertain the real value thereof,and that I verily bel.oivea full list,with the value thereof,estimated by
the rule:; ,.eaeribod by law, is set forth in annexed returns; that in -no case have I knowingly omitted
to reeelae from any person of whom by law 1 was required to receive a etabment of the description and
of real and personal property, or of the amount•of moneys, creits, investments in bonds, stocks,

The taxlist for Andesons creek was called for and accepted. The taxiist for Averasboro was called for and
the following changes made to list to J.D. Stewart x`75 for lumber in Averasboro Township General and Road
tax. W.R. Denning have listed 11500.00 on machinery Gonoral ,Road and School tax.
?rdored that A.L. Sorrell mules be listed at 1100, instead of 150,
Black River was called and iS was reoo:nendod that the real property of R.L. Addams in the town of Angier
valuation be re:late:1 area 1500 to 1000 dollars.
Buckhorn To aohip was called and the following change made ,the valuation of R.S. Abernathy, lava be
reduce,? L.112So to "1000 on account of timber being sold off.
Mrs .ary !.Abernathy land be reduced from 1336 to $300 on account of timber being sold. That the valuation
of the land of J.A. Weathers land be reduced from 11470 to 11000, on account of timber being sold
The land of M.A. Tutor be reduced from 11110 to 1900 for the same cause. That the land ofB.F. Parker at
270 acres instead of 370 acres and the valuation be reanee l from 11130to 11000.
1_•t :jar Fowler with the list of Duke was next called and reoomended that the lanai of Ed Smith the valua-
-•ion thereon be reduced from 15000 to 13500 on account of the timber being sold.
Ordered that Mrs N.I. Sorrell list her land in grove Township 462 acres valued at 11617
Ordered that the land of 'rs J.A. Mclean in U.L River Township be redu.oed from 11575 to $1050.
