Harrington. being full board present, Ordered'by the board that the clerk of the board charge all license under Schedule Band C to the She- riff as they are counter signed by the clerk of the board. the folling comittee was appointed to meet with the County Treasurer and make a final settlement on Saturday before the first Monday in December 1910 J.A. Smith, D.P. McDonald, and A.M: Shaw was the comittee appointed, • • ma�a.M.we: Orderedby the board that A.M. Shaw have a boat made for Northington ferry. J.H. Williams Treasurer made his monthly report and was accepted and ordered filed and recorded. Whereas•Dr F. Smith and Geo E. Prince Mxecutors have appealed to the Superior Coui't'from an order of this board; It is now ordered by the board that J.C. Clifford, Attorney be and he is hereby authorised and directed to represent the interest of the county to final Adjudication of said matter unless other - ordered.by the board in the future said attorney to be paid such amount for said special service and out of such funds as the board may in the future direct, In the matter of the levy of taxes upon F.Smith and Geo E. Prince Exec,This case coming on to be heard by the board upon the order and notice hereto fore issued by the board having heard'C'ouncel represent ing the' fespondentd and the County; It is now ordered by the board that the former order of the board leving 'taxes upon the Trust Estate of said Respondents be and the same is hereby continued in force. Stewarts, at Hardy Ruffins , the expense to be paid laid off and established from the town of Coats N.C? Patsy Cables, B.F. Johnsons, Willie Gregnrys andWesley land conecting with the Smithfeild and Lillington road by the petitioners. Ordered'by the board that a public road be laid off and established in anderson creek Township leading from the public road at John McArtans to the McNeils Bridge on Lower Little 'River a distance of three miles be made a public road the expenses to be paid by the pettOners J.B. Baughcon , who was directed to lay off and estab6- lish a public road in Buckhorn and Hectors reek Township did on the 3 day of October 1910 sumons a Jury of five good and lawful men to -wit B.F. Parker T.F. Dean. J.A. Sexton T.A:-Spence J.M. Johnson to lay off a public road from T.V. "Sextons to the forks of the road between H.L. Prince and the Lock - amy School house over the lands of T.V. Sextons J.A. Gilberts and others did meet on the 28th day of October 1910 and after being duly sworn proc'eeced to lay and establish a publie,road without damage to any one , Respectfully submitted A.L. Lanier Sheriff of Harnett County in obedience to an order from the Board of County Comissioners Oct 3rd i910 summo;;:ed a jury of five good and lawful men:- C. Hodges Hinton Ennis Isiah Williams, W.J. Norris and J.T.Goats,to lay off and establish a public road from the town of Coats to the Raleigh and benson road near Claud Norris over the land of J.K. Stewart J.T. Coats Isiah Williams W.H.T Coats Clevland Langdon F.C. Polliard. Hilliay Stewarts and others where upon said Jury met on the iith day of October 1910 and after being duly sworn did lay off and establish said road the damage paid was as folows w5, to L.A.
