Johnson, Minits of last meeting read and approved After ordpreing the Sheriff to lay off and establish a public road from Cicero Barefoots to S.C. Neigh -bora it was recalled till next meeting of the board, It was ordered that the public road of Buckhorn Township from W.H. Lees by G.D. Spences Mill to the Hollys Spring road petitioned at the last meeting to be discontinued, be and the same is hereby discon - tinued as a public road but left opem as a Neighberhood Mill path, The Chairman- was appointed to investigate the condition of the vacant lot betwwen W.F. Hockadys and the Railroad and report at the next meeting of the board as to the advisability of selling the same. The General By an act of the General Assembly of 1911 creating a stock law in the folloWlmg described Territory :- Beginning at Kivetts bridge over Upper Little River an running along the Masters edge of the Lillington and Aveerasboro road to the Tram road at the corner of Miss Bettie Pipkins Breve, and running thence with the sais tram road crossing the R.and S. Rail road, thence up the Western edge of said Rail road to the Public road at the corner of J.W, Byrds fence, just Oppisite the Post Offic WS Harnett, a station on the R.and S. rail road, thence up the Western edge of the public road leading from Harnett Station to Lillington to a point at the corner og George McLeans fence at the Northern corner Thence the most practical route to a point just below the Colin Mcartan Residence, where the old tram road of B. Vandergrift crossed the Murchison and Lillington road, ;.thence with said tram road now a neig- hborhood mill road the most direct route to a point on another of B. Vandegrifts old tram roads at the gate leading to house now occupied by Henry Stephens owned by Colin McArtan; thence with said last mention -ed tram road, crossing the Johnsville and Lillington ro-d ;t he M le =n , • d t ence a i •••rhoo o, • b . The The following fence Comissioners were appointed for said territory :- H.M. Spears, Lonnie McLeod J.B. Lanier, By order of the Board of Comissioners an election will be held at the Court House in Lillington on the 20th of March 1911 for the Ratifacation of this Act the following Officers have been appointed to hold this Election :- U.H. Parker Registrar y.F. Marsh Jr and N.S. Green Poll Holders and the Ballots will be prepared as the Act creating this Territory demands. Shaw as clerk of the Board Allowed to Nathan Minter for Keeping Worthington Ferry one Month Allowed to Sam Shaw as court House Janitor for February term of the ccourt Allowed to J. B Lanier Sheriff for holding February Term of Superior Court Allowed to " " for carrying prisoner to Raleigh Habeus Corpus Allowed to J.A. Turnage for arrest and conveyance of and guard of Prisoners Allowed A.F. Jernigan D.S. " Allowed Mrs M.N. Oliver for Burial of old Soldier Allowed to C.H. Biggs for keeping county Jail one month Allowed to Dr H.B. Hoyle for examination and care of Lunatic Allowwd for board of jury court week J.E.
