D.P. McDonald, J.E. Wilson B.F. Williamd J.N. Fuquay, Atty J.C. Clifford, full board present.
It was ordered by the board that J.G. Jones of Blackriver Township be releived from road work or
other public work .
Treasurer_ D.B._ Stewart, made his monthly report of receipts and disbursements which was read and
received and ordered filed and recorded and turned the following amount of orders to be cancelled
and credited for the same as follows :- County Orders $ 1397. 54 Bridge Orders $ 214 .84 pauper
orders $ 164 18 Buck horn and Hectors creek fence orders $7.00 Lillington road orders $ 122.00
The question of the fence territory, in regards to the exclusion of the annexed part of the terri-
tory, was left over for one month, and the tax of Setif 8 1/3 as levied last year was ordered
levied for this year.

To the Honorable Board of County Comissioners , We the undersigned Citizens of Harnett county do n
most respectfully petition your honorable body to appoint a Jury to lay off a public road from
McArtans Gin to connect with the Fayettville and Raleigh Road at Mc Neills Bridge on Lower Little
River, from this point Cumberland County Board of Comissioners have been petitione to lay off
a road from said bridge to the old Smiths kerry road leading to Linden, We ask nytaxJnnjxx that
said Jury be ordered to lay offf said road and report their action to your body to your body
at your regular meeting the 1st Monday in October.
