Clifford Atty. • The following resolution was adopted , that nothing else would be paid for by the county unless purchased by the county purchasing agent and itemized statement presented by purchasing agent. Ordeded by the board that V.C. Mathews chm to see on what terms bridge could be builton Walkers creek in O.L. River and on Andersons crack in Andorsors creek Township and report to board. The question of the road matter of the public road in Andersons creek Township in dispute by Sam Williams Col be left to the Chairman as the parties concerned agreed to abide by the decission of the Chm , the Chm to look into it at once amd to make a written report to this board to be spread upon the menits of this board Ordered by the board that V.C. Mathews chm be authorized to sell the old copper and junk in the county Jail to the highest bidder for cash. either public or private sale as he deems best. The report of the grand jury was read and ordered filed according to law. /fog Monday june 3r d 1912 Continued;. The report of the fence comissicners of Barbecue and U.L. River was received and the cotents noted and it was asked that a levy of 25 cts on each $100 of real property for the maintainenae of the fence. The report of J.B. Lanier Sheriff for the Month of Spat May was read as follows :- reports tax collected during the Month of May $1520.50 it was ordered filed and recorded. The report of the board of Education was received as follows :- To the Board of County Comissiopers of Harnett county: Gentleman In accordance with section 4112 of the public School laws, We herewith request your b-ard to levy a special tax to maintain the public Schools in the county of,2cents on the akiattaa one hundred dollars vauation of property and Scents on the Poll Whatever,ainount you levy the State will supplement same if you fail to make the levy a fail to, get from the State any funds from the $125,000 Sate appropriation.
