NORTH CAROLINA HARNETT COUNTY) Motion.
Lillington High School District;
vn motion of the Board of Trustees of the Lillington High School District, it is hereby ordered that a
levy of twenty cents on the hundred dollars worth of property and sixty cents on each poll be made t
for the purpose of paying the interest on the bonds issued in accordance with an act of the Legislature
entitled, AN ACT Tu,INCORPURATE THE LILLINGTUN HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, as provided in CHAPETER f356,

On motion the county home land was rented to B.F. Norris the present renter for the year 1914 the
the rent to be 2550 Zbs of good lint cotton and according to former contract he is to board all take
care of all poor sent to the county home.
Mrs M_g Wicker was placed on the regular list of outside poor and allowed the sum of :„ 9.00 per quarter
and the sum of $18.00 was allowed for the two back quarters she was left of
Martha McLean was placed on the regular list of outside poor and given the sum of $3.00 per quarter.
Upon petition signed
by W.F. _ Marsh sr J.E. Ligon, U.H. Parker J.P. all of Lillington township asking
that G.J. Maynard be appointed Constable for Lillington Township to fill the place until the next Genet
-al election, said Maynard was hereby appointed and authorized to have his Bond made in the sum of $500
Five Hundred Dollars.
vn Motion of W.L. Senter duly seconded it is ordered that D.B. Stewart Treasurer issue his check for
the sum of 4579.20 a to Dunn School District, this amount having been paid over to him by the sheriff
on his final settlement by mistake same'should have been paid to the treasurer of the Dunn School Distric
Upon motion of W.L. Senter, the Clerk of the Board 1s authorised to Notify the County of Lee to come and
get Mary Jane Morris a pauper of said County, and it is , and it is hereby ordered that the said M.ry
Jane Morris be sent back to Lee County at the expense of said county if they do not send for her.

-n your ho &orable body to lay off and establish a public road as follows beginning at the Lillington an
swarm station near Leflet School House, thence by the houses of Polk Thomas John Burgess W.J. Masons
crossing U.L. River at Smalls bridge site crossing Barbecue Creek at the old Bridge (Smells) thence by Aril
houses of D.W. Holder and John Strickland and M.A. Holder to the Lillington and Jvhnsville Road this
road will be a great convenience to a large comunity and will give an outlet to a section most entirely
shut out it will materialy shorten to church ,mill and Lillington to those West of the River and to the
Rail Rued to those East also to the public School for chrildreen.

road at the Campbell old place instead of the Cameron old place such change is respectfully asked for on
account of its being the Rurual /7Ojt$ mail route and Church roade and will be more advantageous to the
