County Comissioners met in Regular Session September 1st 1913 Present J.H. Williams Chm B.F. Williams,
T.A. Harrington, W.L. Senator, absent P.F. Pope, County Attorney E.F. Young also present.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Comissioners agreed to furnish the money to make a fill in the road near Rock Branck said amount not to
exceed $25.00.
Ordered by the board that J.L. Parker be reldived from the payment of Poll tax for the year 1913 and 14.
Ordered by the board that K.H. Norris of Avearsboro Township be released from Poll tax for 1913.
Ordered by the board that Louis Harri ;ton Uol of U.L. River Township be placed on the Pauper list
and allowed 03.00. 6,-Se. (t., Roe/ 9 - le.
Ordered by the board that J.P. Rosser be allowed to rebuild Rossers Bridge on U.L. River lumber to be
or all heart long leaf pine or White oak Rosser to furnish the lumber and to do the work in first
olass workmanship at the sum of %28.00 per thousand feet.
After passdng all the orders itemized below the Comissioners adjourned to Meet at 2 .P.M.
Ordered that the Register of Deeds shall incoporate in the tax levy for Lillington Township, as turned
over to the Sheriff the Stook law tax assessed by the comissionens of Lillington Stock law territory
rimai:ling unpaid as provided by Chapter393 public local laws of 1911.
The county Treasurer turned in the following County Script and was cancelled.

We the4 undersigned Free holders in the county og
Harnett, constituting one - fourth of the free holden, in the proposed special School District included
within the following boundaries,to -wit; Beginning at the bridge on Black River at the old Gree ford,
and running up ghe river its various courses, to a point at the upper edge of Add Guys farm, thence a
straight course to the Angier road at the old Byrd place, thence across the road a Westernly course
to a point on the branch back og the old Dave Flag• Pate place near the upper corner of said place.
thence down said branch about four hundred yards to the mouth of another branch, thence a straight
course to the first path above Tim Cutts pima house, thence a straight course to the Coats District
line on the Coats and Angier Road, thence along said line to Black River thence up said river to the
beginning. Respectfully petition your honorable board for an Election to ascertain the will of the
people within the proposed special school district', whether there shall be levied in said District
a special annual tax of not more than 30 cts on the hundred dollar valuation of property and 90 cts on
the Poll, to supplement the publis School fends which may be apportioned to said District by the County

Comissioners adjourned to Meet Sept loth for the purpose of hearing the comittee on good roads appointed
by the Harnett County good roads assicoation. and such other business as might come to their attention.
