It is sin hereby ordered that the agreed road in Andersons creek Township over the lands of Sam Will
-isms is hereby ordered discontinued and the said Sam Williams is hereby allowed to move his fence
back as it orrigally was.
. ▪ We San Williams Col and P. Moore White agree to accept damage allowed by the Jury for laying out Public
road across our lands, and hereby agreenot to appeal from the award of the Jury, the amount of same

John Green D.J. Parker not presatt W.J. Cotton and J.B. F. Stewart,
and agreed on the following prices for the listing of certain personal Property :- let class horse
$250.00 let class mule $225.00 2nd class horse $150.00 2nd class mule $175.00 3rd class horse
#100.00 and leas 3rd class.nule $125.00 and less.: :sfws :heel sheep and goats at the discretion of
liettaker. Corn 80 cts per,Bu ,Pease $1.50 per Be :beckon 12 cts per lb fodder $1.25 per hundred Hay -
It is hereby ordered that ;the Water Connection between the Tank at the Court House and the McPherson
Drug Store be disconected -ualess the said McPherson Drug Co pay to the Clerk of this board two dollars
per month said amount toibe paid in advance, provided further that water will be furnished said drug
co when theer is sufficient water on hand they to pay: according to the time they are provided water.
It is hereby ordered that -the -Clerk of this board be and he is hereby appointed to have the Court yard
cleaned up with as little:expence as the same can be nice done.
North Carolina Harnett County Black River Township. To the Board of Comissioners of said County, I, 21
I.W. Smith Sheriff of Harnett County in obedience to an order directed to me from the Board of County
Comissioners dated the 6th day of May 1912, summoned a Jury of three good and lawful men to -wit:
A.G. Dudley L.F. Adams and H.S. Holoweyv -be -view the grounds and mark out a road leading from Angier
to sadkin Road over the lands of L.H. Williams F.G. Collins Mrs Kate Balentine Mrs Elizabeth Collins,
J.R. Adams H.T. Welts E. Smith W.H. Marcom S.G. Pool and D.G. Balentine. Whereupon said Jury met
on the 6th day of March 1913and.after being•duly sworn according to law proceeded to layoff and mark
out said road as ordered. Thee Barrages assessed in favor of the parties over whose land the road•runs
as follows to Gales Johnson •- -.and where lands not damaged no damaged will be assessed. - •

petition and the name of petitioners given in full no objections being filed the same was ordered
layed off.

I, Edwin S. Smith ,Do solemnly.sweas that I, will well and -truly serve
the State of North Carolina in the office of Recorded in the Recorders court of Harnett county and said
State ; I, will to equal law and right to all persons, rich --and poor , without having regards to any
person. I, will not wittingly or willingly take by myself oe any other person, any fee, gift gratuinty
or reward whatsoever, for any matter or thing by me to be done by virtue of my office, except the -Pees
and salary by law appointed; I, will not maintain , by myself or any otberperson privately or apettly,
any plea or quarrel depending in any of the said courts; I, will not delay any person of common right
by reason of any letter or command from any person or persons in authority to me directed, or for
any other cause whatsoever; and 4a ease Any letter or orders come to me contrary to law ,I, will
proceed to enforse the law, such letter or orders not w.ithsianding; I, will not appoint-any person
to be Clerk of any of the said Courts -bat such of the Canidates as appear to me sufficiently qualified
for that office; and all such appointadnts I, will nominate without reward, hope of reward, "predud*'t, -.Y
favor or partialaty or any other sinister motive whatsoever; and finally in all things belonging to my
office, during my continuance therein, I, will faithfully, truly and justly, according to the best of my

It appearing.to the Board of Comissioners that the fence Comissioners of the Duke Stock law District
have incurred an indebtness in the building of the stock law fence around said territory and that more
than $1000.00- el-eaid amount still remains as a liability of said fence comissioners, it is therefore
ordered by the Ward of 6omissioners of Harnett County that the Treasurer be and he is hereby authori-
sed to pay unto E.W. Smith, treasurer of seed Fence Comissioners such sums as may be now in his hands or
which may hereafter come into his hands from the assessment of real estate in said District, the same to
be applied by said E.W. Smith to the discharge of the indebtnessof said fence comissioners and to the
maintainence of the fence around said territory.

be and is hereby appointed Registrar and W.F. Marsh Jr and W.J. Parker be and they are hereby appointed
