Ordered that E.3. Smith beAllowed the sun of $180. 28 cts for Special bridge bonds funds held for that purpose. ordered that J.W. Belford, W.F. Byrd, and H.T. Spears road Comissioners for Lillington Township, to serve with out compensation, Ordered art- John Tyler Baighwood be pieced on pauper list for outside poor and given six dollers per quarter and given $4 for this time. On motion of P.F: Pope E.F. Young etty for board wns allowed for attorney fees for 1913, $300.00. County Comissdoners met with list takers for the different Townships for the year 1914 present with full board of comissioners, H.D. MoDoneld, B.A. Parker, T.W. Harrington J.G. Jognson E.M. Blanchard, R.S. ne- lly , H.A. Mathews, J. ". Smith D.P. McDonald, U.H. Porker J.H. Smith J.B. F. Stewart, all present except Neills Creek and E.V. Green was appointed to serve in the place of V.C. Mathews recently left the county. It was agreed //44/0 /jj'(J,i/ by the joint session that 1st class horses and mules be listed At $250.00 2rd class horses end mules nt $175.00. 3rd class horses and mules at $100.00 cows at the rate of $50.00 down, corn 90cts per bushel peas $1.75 cts per bushel bacon and lard 12Q per lb forrnge $1.00 per cwt. Grantham, chairmen of the board, said petition asking for n roe to be leid out es described in the herto atteched petition end whereas on the 8th day of September'1908 the seid boost_ fir^ rated the said reed in a ccordence with seid petition end ordered that the said road be laid out in accordance with law and where's on the 2411th day of November 1908. W.J. Whereas, it Appears thot J.A. Hockody was Appointed registrar for A special Election for Black'River Township which was ordered by this board by virtue of Chapter 122of the public laws 1913 the first Mon- day od April 1914 And whereos , it Appears that the said J.A. Hockody ennnot now serve as registrar for said Special Election As his duties as such would be in conflict with hid dutiea°As Post Master which Office he now holds; now therefore, It is ordered by this board on Account of the things Aforesaid, that J.A. HochAdy be releived from the duties of registrar for the Election aforesaid And ih stead thereof R.D. Overby be And is hereby App inted to fill the vacancy caused by J.A. HochAdy being unAb -e to serve As such; and it is ordered that a coppy of this order shall be served on R.D. Overby by any lawfUl Officer of Harnett county immediately and the sold R.D.
