County Comissioners met in regular session , present J.H. Williams Cho, B.F. Williams, A.L. Senter,
P.F. Pope, T.A. Harrington, full board present also E.F. Young attorney.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
The ohm was authorized to have 2 bridges made one in Duke and the other in Grove Township,.
The following men were appointed to assist the Government Inspectors in the eredaeation of the cattle
ticks for Harnett County, one for the East side and one for th& Weat side of Cape Fear River for the
sum of ; 60.00 per month each West side of River J.R. Davis East Side of river S.O. Brown,

Whereas , apetition has been presented by the Citizens of Lillington Township asking the Board of County
cornissiopers, to elect such citizens and free holders, of said Township as may be named by the voters at
the Election to be held on Tuesday April 14th lo have full management, with the approval of the board
of the expedenture of such money as may be voted on that day for road construction in Lillington Town -
st4p. los Therefore ,be it resolved, that We, the Board of county Comissioners, at the regular meeting
on the First Monday in April , agrees toappoint such men as the voters may select at said Election
to here full power to contract and provide for the construction of the public roads in said Township
and all expedentures connected with the same, subject as provided by law to the approval of this board.

According to the provisions of a certain petition filed with the Board of County Cosissioners on Monday
Feruary 2nd 1914 said petition and provisions of same set out in full in minutes of comissionersof that
date said petition is granted and the road is hereby ordered to be layed off by the sheriff at no expense
to the county.

being one fourth or more of the qualified voters of said township,• do by these presents respectfully
Ask And request your board to submit to the qualified voters of sold township, o proposition to issue
bonds for the purpose, of laying out eatoblishing , repairing and grading costructing and improving the
public roods of said Township, in accordance with the net of the General Asssbly of North Caroling, At
its general Session,1913 the some being Chapter 122 of the public lows of said Session, the smount of
said Bonds to be $25000.00 the some be-ring interest Pt the rote of five per cent per Annum, payable
Semi annually. sold Bonds to run for 30 years. list of Petitioners now on file for any ones inspection,

Vhereas, o petition signed by one fourth or more of the qualified voters of Black River Township, asking
and r'eques'ting the board of county cosissioners to submit to the qualified voters of said Township •
A preposition to issue. bonds , for the purpose of laying out constructing• and improving the public roads
of said Township, the amount of said bonds to be Twenty Five Thousand Dollars be ^ring •interest at the rote
of five pot cent per annum, payable semi annually, the same to run thitty years from date, has this dog

At three public places in the Townshiu And also at the court house door, Thot J.R. Hockady, be and is
hereby appointed Reg•istror, and D.H. oLeod and J.B. Dupree Judges of sold Election, that said Election it
shall, be held only after thirty Boys- notice thereof specifying the Amount of the proposed* Bon Issue
the rate of interest and the perioddr which said bonds 'fore to run shell hove been posted at the Court
House $40, And nt every polling place in the Township and published in four issues of some news paper
published in sold county. •
