The Board of County Commissioners met in Regular'Session,Present: D.H.Senter,Chairman,
L.D. Burwell ,A.A.Shaw,E.H.Gardner,and H.N.Bizzell,Commissioners,and J.W.Wilson,Attorney,
The following Releases were allowed by the Board:

Alex.Williams was released permanently of the payment of Poll Tax ( col.Averasboro)
On Motion,W.P.Byrd,Clerk of Count,was allowed until 01 First Monday in Jane 1916 to
file his annual Report with the Board.
The matter of the election of Road Commissioners for Stewarts Creek Township was taken
up,and the followingmen were elected:
G.E.Byrd
C.M.Allen
A.I.Pendergrass
An order was passed by the Board authorizing the Clerk to issue a Voucher to the Dunn
Military Co. for 425.00 as part of appropriation voted by Board.
It was ordered by the Board that the Public Road leading by J;A:;:McGregor's be laid off
at the expense of the Petitioners.
The following order was passed by the Board:
"Ordered by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County that N.T.Patterson,Treas .
be directed to transfer from the School Fund to the General County Fund Nineteen and .03/100
,Dollars,it being the §f4 balance of the amount overpaid to the School Fund in the year 1914.
Approved. D.H.Senter,Chm."
The following order was passed relative to the Bond Election for Good Roads in Stewart'S
Creek Township:
"North Carolina,
Harnett County.
In Re $15,000.00 Bond Issue of Stewart's Creek Township.
O R D E R
RESOLVED,That the Report of Registrar and Judged of Election,to wit: H.D.Byrd,H.S.Byrd
and W.J.Bethune,heretofore appointed to hold an election in Stewart's Creek Township,in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 427 of the Public Local Laws of North Carolina,upon the question
of issuing Bonds in the sum of $15,000.00 for the improvement of the Public Roads of Stewart's
Creek Township,this County,be and the same is hereby accepted and ordered duly recorded in Book
of Elections. And be- it further resolved that said returns be considered,and the same are hereby
declared to be a true and correct return of said election; That the said Election has been called,
advertised and conducted in accordance with the law in such case made and provided.
Resolved further,that A.I.Pendergrass,G.E.Byrd and C.M.Allen be and they are hereby
appointed Road Commissioners of Stewart's Creek Township to serve until January lst.,1916,or until
their succe:>sors are elected and qualified.
Upon motion of L.D.Burwell,seconded by E.H.Gardner,the foregoing resolution was adopted
by a unamimous vote of the Commissioners.
This December,6th.,1915.
