The Board met in Regular Session,those present being D. H. Senter ,Chm.,L.D,Burwell,A.A.Shaw,
E.H.Gardner,and J.B.Holland,Commissioners,and J.W.Wilson County Attorney.
The following releases were allowed by the Board:
J.H.Wheeley was released from payment of Poll tax in Black River Twp. for 1916,this
includes Special School and Road Poll Tax.(On account of Physical Disability
A.L.Searcy was released from payment of Poll Tax in Black Hiver Twp.for 1916,this
includes Special School and Road Tax -- (on account of Physical Disability). ,
E.F.Glover was released from payment of Poll tax in Duke Twp. for 1916,on account of
Physical disability.
• W.A.Holder was released from payment of Poll tax in Anderson's Creek Twp. for 1915,and
1916(Having been released of 1915 tax,but failing to get his rebate from Sheriff)
D.J.Porter,of Duke Twp.was released of Road Duty in Duke Twp.,on account of physical
disability.
Hughie tester,was released of Special School Tax in Neill's Creek in the sum of $1.37
same having been charged to him through error.
T.L.West was released from paymen$ of special School tax in Averasboro Twp. in the
sum of $6.94, it appearing that he was charged this amount by error of List- Taker.

this release was 9.03, for State & Count , r% ,making Total of
Isham Brown,Col.,of Averasboro Twp.,was placed on the Pauper List for 1 mon
allowed the sum of $4.00,further disposition to be made at later meeting.
Y.S.Jackson,of Averasboro,was allowed from the Pauper Fund for Nbv. the sum of $2.O0,
and it was ordered by the Board that he be allowed the sum of $4.00 per month hereafter,instead

The Board then considered the resignation of J.A.McLeod,as Judge of Recorders
Court,and he:having asked that his resignation be accepted to take effect at once,the Board
unanimously voted to accept said resignation.
• The Board then adjourned to meet at next regular Session.

The Beard of Commissioners met in called session,pursuamt�ta pe al call of the
Chairman,those present being D. H. Senter,Chm.,L.D.Burwell,E.H.Gar a . aw Com'rs.
On Motion of E.H.Gardner,seconded by- L.D.Burwell,J.R.Adams was elected as a Road
Commissioner of Black River Twp.,to succeed B.F.Dupree,who resigned.
The former settlement with J.M.Byrd,Shff., was reviewed,and upon the exhibition of
the receipts in full from the various Treasurers,the Books were balanced -See Settlement Book
