known as Sallie's Bridge,and after dne consideration it was ordered. that the caia Briage be moved
and rebuilt in response to Petition.
• A Petition sinned by a number of the Citizens oa Buckhorn Township askina for the
establishment of a Public Road from near Calvin Hardee s to the Public Road near the ola Dee
Matthews Mill Place on Hectors Creekowee received,and it was ordered advertised for thirty -days,
according to law.
It was ordered by t e Board that Otho Kelly be allowea to Peddle in Harnett Co aty
without having to pay License Fees.
• It was ordered by the Board that the Co aty assume the expenses of clothing for aetlie
Messer in Caswell Training School.
On motion of A.A.Shaw Maraaret Ray was allowed 05.00 from Pauper Furd for 2ronths those

▪ It was ordered by the Board that William Smith,Ool.,be allowed S4.00 from the Paltper
fund for the balance of the present quarter and be placed on t e Regular Pauper List at a6.00
per autrter.
▪ It was ordered by the Board that the Clerk be authorized to issue an order to Mrs.
W.A.Fuquay for $13.22 now due her by order of the Court in case of State vs. W.A.Fuquay0centeaced
to Dunn Roads.
It was ordered by the aoard that the Real Estate of E.A.McRae in Andersont Creek Tap.,
be redueed $300.00 in valuation on Tax Books.
It was ordered by the Board that Sarah Matthews be allowed $2.00 Der month Iron the
Pauper fund for the.balance of this quarter,and then be placed on the Regular Pauper List at
$6.00 per G4uarter.
The Board orderd that Harry Campbell be allowed 13.00 in addition to what has alreaay
been allowed him from the Pauper for the present quarter,and that his allowance be increased
hereafter from $3.00 per fauarter to 146.CO.
The followinectition was preoented to the Board from the Voters of Johnsonville Tap.

"The followin Resolution was offered by Commissioner J.B.Holland,and seconded by Coanissiemer
L.D.Burwell,to wit:
JOHNSONVILLE ROAD BONDS.
WIkEREAS,a Petition signed by more than one-fifth of the qualified voters of Johnsonville
Township,Farnett County„has this clay been filed with the Board of County Commiseioners as-king
that there be submitted to the qualified voters of said aownehip a. Proposition for issuing bonds
of said Township in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($100000.00) for the improvement of the public
Roads of said Township, in accordance with Chapter 427 of the Public-Local Laws of 1913;
Now„Thereforepit is ordered by this Board Vial, an election be,and the same is hereby cal'cd
to be held in Johnsonville Tow .ship,at !Teary 'orrison s Store,on Saturday,September 23rd.,1916,
in accordance with Chapter 427 of the Public-Local Laws of North rarolina,Session 1913,the sane
being entitled "An Act To Improve the Public Roads of Harnett County,and for the issuing of Paala
by the County and the several Townships therein" for the purpose of submitting to the qualifiel
voters of said Township the question of issuing Ten Thousand Dollars of Bonds for the purposes
set forth in said Act.
Be it further ordered that there shall be a new registration of taa voterc jr said 'Own -
ship for the purpose cf said election; and that C.C.Oaaeron be and he is hereby appointed Registrar,
and that W.J.Olive and ,1a30Spivey be and they are hereby appointed poll holders for said ElocUon;
and, that notice of their appointment be immediately served upon them by the Sheriff or otaer
lawful Officer; and that notice of said Election be published in the Harnett Post,a Weekly tows
paper published in Harnett County,eash week from now until date of said Election--
