Shaw Auditor look into the matter of Broadway Store co and report to next meeting, Ordered that Angier Improvment co be releived of taxes on School Dormotory for 1916 State of North Carolina County of Harnett) Whereas, under the provisions of all An Let to encourage road Building in North Carolina by States aid rattified February 21 at 191 petitions containing the signature of 25 percent of the qualified voters, of Lillington Township have been presented to the board of county Jdi Comissioners of ,(1%X said county requesting that an Election be ordered in said Townshib on Tuesday May 8th 2917 for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said Township the question of borrowing from the State of North Carolina the aum of Fifteen thousand for road construction in compliant with said Act; It is therefore 'wad"( Ordered; That ap Election be held in said Township on Tuesday May 8th 1917, at which there still be submitted to the qualified Voters the question of borrowing from the State of North Carolina the sum of Fifteen Thousand for road construction upon the terms contained in said Act, A favorable vote thereon shall carry the power and the duty on part of the board to levy and have Collected the special taxes required by said act, That N.S. Atkins be and he is hereby appointed Reg- istrar that J.E. Ligon and U.H.
