Minutes of last Meet ing read and approved.
Ordered by the board that The Auditor pay t• the Lillington Road District $64.60 balance due en the
dog tax of Lillington Township.
The Board Agreed XM to pay $10.00 to help make a road at the Northingten Perry landing if the comun-
ity would do the rest.
Ordered that Owen Williams 'pauper order be reduced from #8, to $6, per month.
Ordered that Gus and Melissa Ammons of Averasboro Township be taken off of Pauper list.
Ordered that'the Auditor sell the county cotton provided he caul get 18 ets per pound.
J.W. Gardner of Balok river Township having filed his resignation as Road Comisaioner Of Black River
Township , same was accepted and W.H. Gregory was appointed in his stead.
Paul McKay of U.L. River Township having filed his resignation as road Comissiener •f U.L. R. Township
same was accepted and his successor to be appointed next first Monday.
Mrs J.W. Waddell of Grove Township was placed en Pauper list and given $3,00 for March and to be given
$10, per quarter.

We, the undersigned free holders in the county of
Harnett Constituting one fourth of the free holders in the proposed apeoial district included within '
the following boundaries towit:- Beginning at the Morris bridge en the Averasboro and Smithfeild road
and follows said road to Mingo, thence down Mingt• to against G.W. Ennis, thence leaving Mingo with the
line between J.M. Baref••ts and W.A. Stewarts thence along said line to the old path between S.C. Mei-
ghbors and B.A. Hodges along said path to the acting ford en Blaok River, thenoe up said River to the
beginning, with the exception •f C.L. Morris and J.W. Suggs who have been attached to No 1 in Grove
Township being Averasboro School district No 5

11 be levied in said district a special annual tax of net more than 15centsf on the $100, valuation •
of property and 45 cents en the Poll, to supplement the public School fund whioh may be apportioned to
