Johnson also Chas Rose Attorney, Minutes of last meeting read and approved-. - It was ordered that the appointment of Fred Baggett as cotton weigher of the town of Dunn be confirmed. Ordered that the Religious organization be allowed to place a Bronze tablet in the Cor6dor of the Court house with the Ten Commandantasoribed thereon and that Rev J.A. Campbell H.B. Porter and G.F. Kirk- patrick be appointed a eomittee, af66r passing the several orders itemized below the board adjourned Sine Die- New Board met at 1.30 oolook after being sworn in by D.H. WcLawn Recorder Judge and taking the several oaths prescribed bylaw as follows J.D. Barnes R.T. Johnson T.C. Byrd D.P. Ray and W.J. MoStewart Organized and Elected J.D. Stewart H.A. Turlington and C.L. Bailey be appointed road comissioners of Grove To*mhip term beginning Januaryy( 1st 1919. Orderd that A.L. Oberby C.W. Flowers and J.L. Johnson be appointed road Comissioners pf Black River Township _term beginning January lot 1919. Ordered that Archie Moore be droped from the pauper list. t Ordered that O.P. Shall be appointed Vice Recorder for Harnett county for the ensuing Te=of two years By unamomous vote-of the Comissioners the County Officers as follows presented their bonds and took the several oaths -as prescribed by law and was duly inducted into office W.H. Turlington Sheriff A.A. McDonald Clerk of Superior Court W.H. Faucett Register of Deeds and Allen M. Shaw County Auditor all sworn in by D.H. Mclean Recorder Judge Mr Mclean having taking the oaths prescribed by law before W.P. Byrd C.S.C. Ordered that T.L. Reardon John Green and D.D. Johnson be appointed road Comissioners of Neills Creek term beginning January let 1919. Ordered that 0. Bradley D.R. Smith and D.H. Senter be appointed road Comissioners of Hectors Creek Township Term beginning January/ 1st 1919. Ordered that W.C. Davis J.S. Bethea and O.T. Cox be appointed Road Comissioners of U.L. River Township Term beginning January let 1919. Ordered that A.S. Davis D.H. Bain and J.G. Shaw be appointed road comissioners of And Creek Township term beginning January lot 1919. Ordered that W.R. Gilliland E.P. Harrington and T.R. Rosser be appointed road domissioners of Barbecue Township,-term beginning January let 1919 ordered that Clerk notify all road Comissioners to meet with the board December 16th 1918 Ordered that J.D. Lanier Supt of County Home be notified to meet with the Board-of Comissioners December 16th 1918• Ordered that T.B. Buchanan and wife be replaced on Pauper list at $9 each per quarter. Ordered that the appropiation for Farm Demonstration be continued and that T.D. MoLean State Mfg get a good man in place of Owen Odum resigned.
