To The Board. of County Comissioners of Harnett County, We the undersigned free holdres in the county o
of Harnett constituting one fourth i(of the free holders inthe proposed special school district included
within the follosine boundaries towit:- Beginning at McLeans ford on Up,ier Little River in U.L. River
township and followinf the course of river to mouth of Jones Creek up that creek tr bridge on the Iv`ic
Dougald Road East on the 'icDouglad road to where the Bullard road turns out there in straight line to
Skinners ford on Walkers creek thence up Walkers creek to the head thence West to Wilsons old feild
near ryes, thence South to the beginning- this being the boundaries of the Leaflet School distract.
respectfully petition your honorable board for an election to :iccertain\ the will of the people within
the proposed special school district whether there shall be levied in said district at special ahnual
tax of not more than 15 cts on each one hundred dollars valuation of property and 45 ots on the Poll
to surllement.the public school funds whirh may be apportuoned to said district by the county board
of education in case sueja special tax is voted.
