To the State Highway Commission at Raleigh, N. C. Sire; The County of Harnett having by its Board of Commissioners on the 7th. day of June, assented to the acts of Congress, approved July, 11th. 1916, entitled, "An Act to provide that the United States shall aid the States in construction of rural post Roads, and for other pur- poses" does hereby, pursuant to the provisions of said Act, and to the rules and regulations of the Secretary of Agrioulture, and according to the Laws of the State of North Carolina and the rulesand regulations of the State Highway Commission. The Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County at a legal meeting held in Lillington on June 7th. 1920, passed the following order, and the clerk to the Boardxzf was directed to enter same on the minutes of the Board. pprdered that this Board hereby agrees that the State highway Commission construct, aoeor- ding to the State and Federal Laws and the regulations (f the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States and th& regulations of the State Highway Commission,the section of Drojeot No 68, beginning at Sampson County line, via, best route and ending at Dunn, a distance of ap- pPoximately 4 miles. Tnis is the same road on which the Board of 6/19/19 requested the State Highway Commision to grant aid. Blake, Judges of Election, heretofore appointed to hold an electio, in Duke Township for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said Township the question of issuing bonds i n the aura of Thirty Thous- and Dollars for improvementx of the Roads of said Township in accordance with provisions of Chapter 427 of the Public lgoal laws of 1913, and amendments thereto, having been filed with this Board at call meeting on May 15th. 1919 and continued for consideration until this day, upon consideration of said report, this Board in its capacity as a canvassing Board finds the following facts, to -wit: (1) T "at said election was dulilcalled and advertised as provided by law and in accordance with the ,,retious orders of thic :_.card.
